Job Description

The University of Missouri School of Medicine in Columbia MO is searching for a Senior Director of Talent.

The Senior Director of Talent will have accountability for designing, implementing, and measuring the outcomes of a comprehensive talent plan. The successfully talent leader will lead, with partner collaboration, faculty recruitment, retention, onboarding, engagement, workforce planning, diversity, equity and inclusion, development, and initiatives that will position MU School of Medicine as the career choice of clinical, research and educational professionals.

Reporting to the Chief Administrative and Operations Officer, the Senior Director of Talent is valued as a key leader in the School of Medicine, and collaborator & influencer across the University of Missouri and MU Health System.

The MU School of Medicine employs over 2,500 faculty and staff dedicated to saving and improving lives, through exemplary education, research and patient care. We educate more than 2,000 medical students, residents, fellows, and undergraduate students each semester. Our students have access to one of Missouri's most comprehensive health care networks with MU Health Care's multi-hospital and ambulatory care enterprise.

Salary

Commensurate with experience and education.

Shift

Full-time; 40 hours per week.

Minimum Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Behavioral Sciences or business-related field and seven years of talent management experience, three of which must be at the management level or an equivalent of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Prefer possession of PHR and/or SPHR certification.

Prefer successful national recruiting experience.
