The Opportunity

Join the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University - Worldwide Campus in this critical role on our enrollment management team. The Director of Student Recruitment designs and implements a comprehensive strategic plan for recruiting new students to Embry-Riddle - Worldwide while maintaining and fostering enrollment and viable prospective student growth. This position oversees the performance of the recruitment process (and assigned recruitment teams) to assist prospective students during the college decision process across all modalities and classifications. Along with the Senior Director, the Director develops a recruitment budget and assists in the development of recruitment marketing materials, web pages and other student recruitment-focused communications. The Director must evaluate and improve aspects of ERAU-Worldwide recruitment with the goal of growing new enrollments and viable prospect pools across all Embry-Riddle offerings. Provide monitoring and reporting of relevant statistics in all areas concerning student recruitment and, when appropriate, provide interpretation to the Senior Director and colleagues.

Job Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and coordinate the activities, efforts, and outcomes of the Enrollment Management – Worldwide recruitment and enrollment operations teams .

  • Manage and oversee the travel activities and expenses of assigned team members .

  • Provide strategic direction and guidance to meet/exceed new student goals for the assigned recruitment team staff.

  • Respond to escalated recruitment/prospecting inquiries, questions and concerns.

  • Contribute to the overall lead generation search strategy in coordination with residential campuses.

  • Assist with recruitment event planning and hosting.

  • Assist in develop ing marketing strategies and facilitate brand awareness creative efforts – travel pieces, brochures, and other collateral specific to Embry-Riddle prospective student recruitment.

  • Work with the Senior Director to ensure recruitment goal s and pipeline o b jectives are met.

  • Develop, monitor and maintain lifecycle funnel reports utilizing Salesforce CRM and Student information system ( Campus Solutions ).

  • Improve efficiencies in resource allocation to maximize new student yield rates.

  • Perform market research and strategic target- market development.

  • Evaluate recruitment travel on an ongoing basis for opportunities of improvement, cost savings and strategic plan growth.

  • Work closely with the Student Recruitment leadership team to a pply university strategic plan objectives to Embry-Riddle Worldwide efforts .

  • Other duties as needed and assigned.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications
  • Master's degree in educational leadership, curriculum design & development, business administration, or similar field.
  • 5-10 years of work related experience.
*A bachelor's degree will be considered alongside 10+ years of work related experience.

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
  • Prior experience in higher education enrollment management.
  • Event management and planning.
  • Supervisory experience of teams of five (5) or more.
  • Budget management.
  • Public speaking.
  • Marketing strategy.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
  • Ability to work closely with prospective students and their families.
  • Advanced experience in Microsoft Excel, Salesforce/CRM, and/or related data analysis tools.
