Fiscal Year - FT Contract
Position Function
Perform duties in various phases of strength and conditioning program for the Intercollegiate Athletic department. Assist with Men’s Basketball plus additional assigned sports.
Minimum Education
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution by date of employment. CSCS or SCCC Certification. CPR / AED certified or must obtain certification within three months of employment.
Minimum Experience
At least one year of experience in strength and conditioning or related field.
Minimum Other
Authorization to work in the US
Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
Preferred Education
Master’s degree in exercise science/physical education/kinesiology/bio mechanics or related field.
Preferred Experience
Three or more years at the collegiate level of strength and conditioning.
Preferred Other
Pre-Employment Screening
Requires successful completion of a background check and education verification.

Assess and evaluate proper instruction and supervision of techniques and safety procedures within the designated strength and conditioning programs.

Develop, in conjunction with the other Strength and Conditioning Coaches, proper maintenance and care of appropriate equipment, along with maintenance documentation.

Monitor supply and equipment needs for all appropriate areas; follow proper procedures for their purchase.
