Measurement & Evaluation Center Analyst - (STA009895)



Assist in the coordination of the activities of assessment services for the Measurement and Evaluation Center (MEC), which includes data analysis, survey design, and managing data scanning activities and development and maintenance of MEC web pages and University wide course evaluation
  1. Analyze data using SPSS, SQL, spreadsheets and other computer software applications.
  2. Design scannable survey forms and update current forms using various survey design applications.
  3. Employ statistical concepts in the collection, analysis, presentation and archiving of electronic data sets from a variety of sources including quantitative and qualitative evaluation tools.
  4. Utilize PeopleSoft, SPSS, SQL, Tableau and other data analysis software applications including those operating in a web-based environment (i.e. AWS, Azure, etc.) to analyze data and produce reports.
  5. Create and run queries from PeopleSoft student database.
  6. Ensure testing security and accurate scoring.
  7. Maintain departmental web pages utilizing the University�s content management system.
  8. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

Bachelors and 3 years experience

Education: Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed.Experience: Requires a minimum of three (3) years of directly job-related experience.
