Teach undergraduate courses as assigned by the Department of
Kinesiology Chair. Position also provides medical care for
assigned teams within the Department of Athletics.
Primary sporting assignments to be determined by Head
Athletic Trainer in conjunction with Assistant Director. Teach
undergraduate courses as assigned by the Department of Kinesiology
Chair; serves as a preceptor in a CAATE-accredited Athletic
Training Program; provides daily medical care for assigned teams to
include all team activities and associated travel, including nights
and weekends; maintain appropriate electronic medical records;
supervise graduate assistant athletic trainers; carry out
administrative and other duties as assigned by the Department Chair
or the Senior Associate Athletics Director.
Minimum Training and Experience Requirements: Master’s Degree in appropriate discipline area – prior experience teaching in higher education setting
License and Certification Required: BOC Certification, AED/CPR Certification, Licensed or Eligible for athletic training licensure in North Carolina by August 2022.
