Position Description

Performs varied and complex duties in the daily operation of a Clinical Simulation Center that include programming and operating simulators for assigned exercises.

Major/Essential Functions
  • Provides support in programming/preparation of all simulation equipment, medical equipment as well as any other similar needs in order to conduct simulation activities.
  • Manages the maintenance and operation of all equipment and arranges for repairs when necessary.
  • Assists in the implementation and evaluation of technologies required for simulation programs using industry standards and established best practice standards.
  • Operates computer manikins, related operating software, characteristics, programming and A/V equipment.
  • Provide logistical support for simulation activities including set-up and tear down.
  • Assist with the stocking of supplies.
  • Assists with and maintains schedule/calendar of activities.
  • Provides simulation support to academic and continuing education program users.
  • Performs simulation activities as needed.
  • Maintains Center's inventory as well as orders supplies.
  • Conducts American Heart Association (AHA) courses.
  • Provides administrative support to center staff.
  • Assist with preparation and maintenance of patient simulators, task trainers, and audio-video equipment.
  • Moulage set-up for simulation.
