Job Description:

This position oversees the work of digital marketing staff to ensure the timely and accurate execution of marketing and communications plan.

Email Marketing, Database Management

Manage scheduling and execution of email marketing with a focus on ticket sales, donor communications, and general external communications, while maintaining brand standards.

Manage customer data within email service provider and ticketing database Audience View.

Generate reports and targeted customer lists for use in marketing and advertising efforts.

Website Management

Manage the UF Performing Arts website, maintaining concise, accurate, and up-to-date content and communication, including the development of engaging and dynamic SEO-friendly website content.

Plan and execute website initiatives, including the development of campaign-specific landing pages.

Social Media

Develop and execute a monthly social media content calendar.

Confer with other managers to identify trends or key group interests for inclusion in external communications.

Plan, create, and execute social media plan, primarily focusing on Facebook and Instagram.

Analyze and evaluate effectiveness of social media efforts, using insights to inform future strategy.

Manage marketing videos on UFPA's YouTube channel.

Copywriting and Publishing

Research artists and collect content for use in communications efforts.

Write copy for organization's digital, print, and audio communication efforts.

Conceptualize, develop, and produce written materials for internal and external audiences.

Serve as project manager and copywriter for a wide variety of marketing projects, including brochures, fliers, email blasts, web content and online social media advertising.

Utilize up-to-date Associated Press (AP) Style in all produced materials.

Write press releases of other media communications to promote clients.

Coordinate public responses to environmental management incidents or conflicts.

Additional Duties

Contact and maintain relations with publicists to secure promotional and marketing materials such as press kits, photographs, and digital content, etc. for promotion of performances.

Participate in strategic marketing and communications planning for UF Performing Arts, including yearly advertising, marketing, and communications plans, as needed.

Work with the Director of Marketing to ensure clarity on overall positioning and branding of UF Performing Arts, and effective communication of these messages.

Document and present progress to Director of Marketing in weekly meetings.

Participate in, and assist with communication for organization diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts.

Content Creation and Project Management-Video, Audio, Photography Production

Manage, curate, and provide direction for the creation of video, photo, and audio content for digital delivery.

Partner with UFPA teams and outside vendors for the creation of advertising videos and other marketing-related video production jobs as needed.

Plan, produce and oversee editing of audio content, such as podcasts.

Provide creative direction for live-streamed UFPA events.

Provide input and oversight of photography shoots for marketing purposes.

Marketing-Digital Marketing Assistant

Manage the daily tasks for the Digital Marketing Assistant in project management system, allowing them to stay on task and help with the overall communication efforts. Tasks to include social media management, email design, copywriting, and web content creation.

Provide direction, assistance, and feedback to the Digital Marketing Assistant on an ongoing basis.

Provide ongoing training on social media management, content creation, strategic content planning, and email marketing.

Additional duties ad assigned by UF Performing Arts Director of Marketing.

Expected Salary:

$50,000-$53,000 Commensurate with experience

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree and three years of relevant experience; or an associates degree and five years of relevant experience.
