YOUTH ENRICHMENT COORDINATOR

Job Summary/Basic Function: Reporting to the director of Community Education, this position:

• researches, develops, and coordinates new programs/courses that enhance personal, social, and educational development of the K-12 community and supports college-going culture.
• Supervises daily program activities.
• Generates course approvals and reports.
• Prepare program schedule for each semester
• interview and recommend instructors.
• Manage payroll for youth programs within Community Education.
• recruit, train, and supervise instructors and volunteers
• Implement policies for continuous program improvement & to protect students, staff, and faculty
• Purchase materials and maintain inventory records for class needs.
• Work with other departments to develop, implement, and evaluate K-12 programming.
• Work with marketing to create materials to promote programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree required ( degree in Education preferred).
• 2 years experience working with K-12 students.
• Experience in planning and programming for youth development.
• Experience in budget planning and maintenance.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
