Job Details
Buena Vista University, a NCAA Division III institution and a member of the American Rivers Conference (A-R-C), is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Track and Field Coach. Responsibilities include assisting the head coach in all aspects of daily operations of the men’s and women’s intercollegiate track and field programs, specifically recruiting student-athletes, supporting student-athletes throughout their collegiate careers, assisting with meet management, helping to develop and maintain alumni relations, establishing civic engagement opportunities in the community, and fundraising. There is a particular need for this assistant coach to develop the hurdles, sprints, and other areas as needed. Also, as a member of the athletics department, there may be other duties assigned by the Director of Athletics. A bachelor’s degree is required and a Master’s degree is preferred.
