The Director of Library Resources will provide leadership for the
University learning center include participation in
activities that measure University Libraries’ effectiveness and
value in meeting discipline-specific learning outcomes and
identified student success objectives. Position provides support to
the university’s academic programs; participates in the cultivation
of co-curricular partnerships with university faulty, and manages
the collection of virtual data sources in support of the
institution.
Is responsible for the overall management of the library’s digital resources and virtual services; professional collection development and management of databases and digital content; management of the library’s integrated library system; management of the library’s technology plan; development and delivery of library programs; and development and delivery of staff software and technology training. Provide services and resources that allow students to develop skills in locating, evaluating, synthesizing, and using information to solve problems.
REQUIRED

REQUIRED
- Master’s degree in Library Science, or Library and Information Science (MLS/MLIS)
- Four years of progressively responsible administrative experience, knowledge of university library services and operation.
- Expertise with online library database management
- Expertise with information literacy and instruction
