Description
The Department of Religious Studies at the College of the Holy Cross invites applications for a visiting full-time position in Race and Religion for the academic year 2022-2023 to begin in August 2022. Teaching responsibilities include introductory and intermediate/advanced level courses in race and religion and related fields; the ability to offer a course in global perspective is a plus. The Department welcomes applicants using contemporary methodological frameworks such as critical race theory, intersectional and decolonial approaches, and religious history.

Visiting full-time faculty teach 3 courses each semester and are eligible for travel support and reimbursement of relocation costs within the College's published policies. All full-time appointments offer competitive salaries and include full benefits.


Qualifications
Candidates must demonstrate commitment to, and excellence in, undergraduate teaching as informed by current practice and scholarship in the field.
