Summary/Objective

Reporting to the University Registrar, the operations coordinator understands the policies and processes for all functions of the Registrar’s Office. The operations coordinator will assist in many aspects of departmental operations, which includes helping to ensure the general office operates efficiently and effectively daily by providing administrative support for the work of mid and senior-level staff members. The operations coordinator will interact with students, staff, faculty, and various campus partners.

Essential Functions
  1. Assists in maintaining the integrity of student records
  2. Maintains compliance with academic policies and procedures by interpreting and communicating them to students, faculty, academic units, and campus partners.
  3. Assists with the preparation and management of meetings
  4. Provides support for all office functions and services related to record integrity processes
  5. Manages other projects as necessary; performs related duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience
  • Associate's degree
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated competency in administering services and operations in a college/university environment, including demonstrated skill in problem solving and change management.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality customer service.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative results-oriented environment.
  • Establishes, motivates, and supports effective teams to meet objectives.
  • Current knowledge of Federal educational laws and policies pertaining to education records.
  • Ability to effectively use computer and information technology
  • Experience in student records or other related databases.
  • Demonstrated ability to be a fast learner and a fast starter in a continuously evolving technological environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic, creativity, and initiative.
Preferred Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
