PROGRAM ASSESSMENT AND EVALUATION ANALYST

Salary:

Minimum $45,000 ANNUAL (12 months)
Depending on Qualifications
This is a full-time appointment. The starting annual salary is $45,000 or higher based on qualifications and includes a competitive retirement and benefits package including professional development funds.

Job Summary:

The Department of Residence Life in University Housing is recruiting for a Program Assessment and Evaluation Analyst.

This position will be housed in Residence Life while working on larger division projects. They will assess and evaluate divisional initiatives and the overall resident and staff experience in University Housing. This position works with several on-going Housing-wide projects and collects, analyzes and reports on extensive web-survey data, data gathered from other sources and historical data.

Responsibilities:

Contributes to the development, implementation, administration, coordination, and evaluation for one or more academic programs to ensure effectiveness in meeting departmental and student development goals and initiatives. Strives to create a welcoming, equitable, and inclusive work environment.
  • 30% Utilizes independent judgement regarding development, implementation, promotion, and evaluation for one or more academic programs, initiatives, or events
  • 20% Identifies program, needs, contributes to the development of unit workflows, schedules logistics and secures resources for meetings, events, and interviews
  • 30% Coordinates program components and evaluates program effectiveness and provides recommendations for improvement
  • 20% Participate in division and campus committees (i.e. EID) and implementing assessment initiatives from these areas within housing.
Tasks:
  • Conduct high quality assessment & program evaluation for multiple Housing projects.
  • Coordinate logistics, including participant recruitment and data collection through web-surveys (Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey, etc.)
  • Develop, organize, analyze and maintain data in statistical software programs, including data entry, descriptive and inferential statistics, and regression analyses, and assembling data into graphs and tables for reporting purposes.
  • Manage project data and assure data quality/security.
  • Provide support and consultation for colleagues for various assessment initiatives.

Education:

Required
Bachelor's Degree
Bachelor's degree required. Bachelor's degree in Data Analysis, statistics or related field or comporable experience preferred.

Qualifications:

Required:
- Advanced experience in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, and an aptitude for learning new software.

Preferred:
- Experience with survey software such as Qualtrics.
- Experience with SPSS, R, Python, or similar data analysis software.
- Competence with data analysis, including inferential statistics and refression analysis.

Primary schedule for this position is 7:45am - 4:30pm including minimal evenings and weekends depending on operational need.
