Job Summary:

This position acts as a point of contact for hiring managers and candidates to perform full life-cycle recruitment. This includes brainstorming ideas on how to attract and retain candidates, assisting in making compensation and offer amounts, and educating supervisors on best recruitment and hiring practices. This position requires working independently and collaboratively. In addition, this position requires flexibility, excellent customer skills, timely communication, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities:

Performs full life-cycle recruiting. Develops recruitment plans, sources and recruits, screens and recommends prospective candidates for hire to promote the recruitment of a diverse and inclusive workforce while ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
  • 20% Sources, recruits, interviews, and recommends external and internal candidates for hire
  • 20% Analyzes, compiles, and disseminates recruitment records according to established policies and procedures
  • 20% Serves as a subject matter expert and liaison to management to provide advice on recruitment best practices and disseminate applicable policies and procedures
  • 20% Processes lifecycle recruitment transactions in various mediums to ensure accurate and timely entry of necessary information as required by established rules and regulations
  • 20% Contributes to the development of workforce planning strategies and objectives for a specified work unit

Education:

Preferred
Associate's Degree

Qualifications:

At least 2 years of office administration or customer service work experience required
Previous work experience in recruitment, HR, payroll/benefits preferred but not required

License/Certification:

Preferred
SHRM-CP - SHRM Certified Professional Certification

Preferred
PHR - Professional Human Resources Certification

This position may require some work to be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location. Some work may be performed remotely, at an offsite, non-campus work location.
