Position Summary:
An EKU Apprentice Plumber performs simple mechanical maintenance tasks while assisting a craftsman, craft foreman and shop supervisor in implementing and completing assigned work orders.

Minimum Education:
High School Diploma or GED Required

Minimum Experience:
One year of established work.

Minimum Licensure and Certification:

Job Functions:
Performs simple mechanical and clean-up activities under the direction of a foreman and/or supervisor.
Provides assistance to senior staff members performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance of university buildings, mechanical and other systems as required and according to established procedures.
Supports the smooth and efficient operations of the department and the University.
Performs other duties as assigned.
