The Manager will work in concert with other college staff, lead working groups of staff members in planning and running events for the Office of the Dean, and provide training for all staff responsible for event planning and execution. This includes supervising staff in details such as bookings, catering, technical support, internal and external marketing as well as overseeing staff teams for each event. The Manager facilitates collaboration among university units for co-sponsored programs and events, and tracks budgets and expenses for events for the Office of the Dean.

The Manager supervises one co-op student and work-study students. This position will require working some night or evening hours. The Manager may supervise one staff member who provides additional support for college-wide events.
