Job Summary
The Parking Enforcement Officer is responsible for identifying parking violations and issuing citations to vehicles not in compliance with University of Wisconsin Milwaukee (UWM) policy. The schedule for this position is Tuesday-Saturday between 10:00am-6:30pm. The majority of this position is spent driving around the campus area along with frequently getting in and out of the vehicle to ensure compliance with the applicable policies.

The starting wage for this position will be $18/hr

Minimum Qualifications
Applicants for this vacancy must:

• Provide evidence of ability to lift 50 pounds
• Must possess a valid Wisconsin Driver license (or other such valid operator’s permit recognized by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation) and be able to meet or exceed the minimum requirements for driving on state business as detailed here: https://uwm.edu/risk-management/drivers/

Preferred Qualifications
Highly qualified candidates will also have:

• Experience in the parking and transit industry
• Experience in customer service
• Evidence of basic computer skills in common software (such as MS Word, Email, etc.)
