Lecturer in Costume/Shop Manager
The Department of English, Theatre, and World Languages of the University of North Carolina at Pembroke seeks applications for a full-time lecturer, costume designer, and shop manager beginning August 2022. The position will manage the University Theatre costume shop and should have experience in construction, draping, pattern making, commercial patterns, crafts, and wigs. The position will also design and facilitate three productions during the academic year and support student-driven productions. Teaching responsibilities include Costume Design, Costume Technology, Stage Makeup, and Introduction to Theatre. Normal teaching load reduced to seven hours per semester (course releases granted for design and construction and shop supervision).
