TITLE IX LAWYER

TITLE IX LAW AND COLLEGE CONDUCT CODE VIOLATION DEFENSE

Duffy Law, a highly regarded leader in Title IX, campus sexual misconduct cases, and college disciplinary proceedings defense, is adding another full-time attorney to its nationwide practice representing:

  • College students, faculty, and coaches confronting the full gamut of Title IX actions from sexual harassment and assault, to workplace discrimination, to inequitable gender-based athletic programming
  • College students charged with serious conduct code violations ranging from racial discrimination to hazing to drug possession

REQUIREMENTS

  • A minimum of 3 full-time years of experience handling university Title IX and campus sexual misconduct cases, including:
    • Either the private representation of both respondents and complainants, or the schoolwide administration of Title IX procedures and policies
    • Conducting complex investigations
    • Drafting reports throughout all stages of a case from initial findings to sanction appeals
  • A demonstrated passion for working with college students and university personnel
  • Exemplary organizational and time management skills

The position will begin in-office (New Haven, CT) for the first six months, and then transition to a hybrid  in-office / work-from-home schedule.
