The department of Outreach Global is currently accepting applications for the position of Administrator I, Outreach Global.
This position in Outreach Global will help facilitate global engagement planning, immigration processes, marketing campaigns, travel arrangements, networking for partnerships, building relationships, developing communications, developing and implementing new programs and services, researching for grants and or funding opportunities, and administrative duties.
Essential Functions
- Manage the day-to-day operations of Outreach Global by providing administrative support for budgeting, finance, communications and other duties as assigned. Research, prepare, and assist with grant writing, applications and fundraising proposals to sources at local, state, national and international levels.
- Develop and coordinate outreach global service learning, cultural and educational programs and capacity training for faculty, students, staff and targeted global partners; assesses program needs. Acts as project manager in planning and coordinating activities to support cultural and educational programs abroad and service learning programs and training of both domestic and global paitners. Establishes engagement/relationship building with both domestic and international partners and engages with campus/school partners for Outreach Global service learning and training programs.
- Organize program materials; design surveys, and evaluate program success; facilitate registration of programs and manage logistics for global engagements and community outreach. Assists in the development of or develop marketing plans and publicity materials for distribution to target audiences. Write articles and reports. Develop and maintain a database and/or website related to a specific activity, program or service.
- Manage all domestic and international travel arrangements. Consult with students and staff to prepare for global procedures and travel arrangements. Process and mail all visa and other related immigration documents to the appropriate embassies. Process all associated travel vouchers and reimbursements. Implement policies from the Office of Procurement and Business Services and the International Study Abroad Office. Occasional and annual domestic and international travel required.
- Supervise a graduate assistant and or student worker.

Minimum Skills and Abilities
- Self starter, business and entrepreneurial skills, good verbal and written communication skills, excellent public relation skills, the ability to work with a diverse population, being well organized, and a team player, ability to operate a golf cart and own a private vehicle.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Suite as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience with virtual technology such as Zoom.
Minimum Technology Skills
