The Gannon University's Doctor of Physical Therapy Program located
at the Ruskin, Florida campus seeks a core faculty member to serve
as Assistant Professor. This full-time, 12-month position begins
July 1, 2022, or upon hire. Gannon University seeks excellence

Gannon University faculty work collaboratively with colleagues, deliver instruction, advise students, engage in scholarship, and participate in service. Requirements for a tenure track appointment include an earned advanced post-professional degree (Ph.D., EdD, DHS, DSc) in physical therapy or a related field. Additional required qualifications include greater than three (3) years of teaching experience in a DPT program, greater than five (5) years of clinical experience, and contemporary academic curriculum expertise in one or more of the following areas: orthopedics, clinical medicine, medical imaging, and pharmacology. Preferred qualifications include a record of scholarship and service and an ABPTS. Candidates must be able to support and promote the University's inclusive Mission, its Catholic identity, and its liberal arts and professional education traditions.
Gannon is a comprehensive Masters L institution that is committed to student-centered learning, with an emphasis on professional education integrated with liberal-learning student outcomes. Ruskin is located along the Gulf Coast of Florida in the Tampa Bay/St. Petersburg/Bradenton area.
