Job Summary
The Human Resources Coordinator for Talent Acquisition works in a customer-focused role and provides professional support to Georgia Southern employees. The Human Resources Coordinator responds to inquiries at a Tier 2 level.

Due to the Governor's approval for the Cost of Living Adjustment to Fiscal Years 2022 and 2023, final salaries at the time of hire may be impacted, but will not be lower than what is advertised.

Responsibilities
  • Perform related duties as assigned to support the mission of the University
  • Monitor and respond to Tier 2 inquiries submitted in the MyHelp Ticket System, as well as emails, chats and phone calls. Follow up by creating tickets if they do not exist.
  • Assist campus constituents navigate through Human Resources processes
  • Provide training to hiring managers on relevant topics
  • Collaborate with other departments to facilitate actions and resolve issues
  • Write professional documents to support the business needs of the Human Resources unit
  • Maintain integrity of area data and pull data for analysis
  • Follow prescribed guidelines, departmental, University, BOR, state and federal laws, best practices and procedures
  • Recruit staff, student and temp employees for Georgia Southern University
  • Maintain social media sites to further recruitment needs
  • Perform other special projects, as assigned

Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
  • Bachelors degree

Required Experience
  • Two (2) or more years of related work experience

Proposed Salary
$41,500 - $45,700

This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis
