Dominican University is seeking faculty for multiple one-year
Visiting positions for the 2022-2023 academic year.
Applicants with a PhD will be given preference, but candidates with
a Master’s will be considered. The candidates’ primary
teaching duties will be in the Core Curriculum, primarily teaching
courses in our first-year critical reading, writing, and speaking
two-course sequence (CRWS 101 and CRWS 102), and our first-year
liberal arts and sciences seminars. Responsibilities consist of
teaching three courses per semester. We encourage
applications from underrepresented backgrounds, and we seek
candidates who are also able to teach in math (foundations level)
and in pre-nursing disciplines (biology, chemistry,
math/statistics). Application materials must include cover
letter, curriculum vitae, teaching statement, and three letters of
recommendation. Materials must be submitted at www.dom.edu/jobs. Applications
will be accepted until the position is filled and review of
applications will begin immediately. Questions can be
addressed to Dr. Chad Rohman crohman@dom.edu, chair of the search
committee. Founded in 1901, Dominican University is a

students are Latino. Among undergraduates, 48% are Pell-eligible
and 43% are the first in their families to attend
college. Located on a 37-acre wooded campus in suburban River
Forest, Illinois, and just 10 miles west of downtown Chicago, the
