Job Description
This position is located in Springfield, Missouri at the MU School of Medicine Springfield Clinical Campus.
Duties will include:
- Providing administrative and clerical support for the Springfield Clinical Campus, including but not limited to the Director of Student Services. These duties may include calendar management; scheduling appointments; editing correspondence; and entering confidential information in MU databases.
- Coordinating on/off-site department events including student visit days, M3 Orientation, Match Day, Second Look Day, Legacy Teachers, Student Health & Wellness events, etc. This will include scheduling; invitations; calendar management for campus conference rooms, meeting facilities, and equipment; setting up audio/visual conferences; and ordering food.
- Troubleshooting student access issues including badge access and EMR access. Requesting access as needed.
- Attending meetings along with Director of Student Services to take minutes, organize next steps and keep projects on track.
- Purchasing items for student health and wellness and other student services-related events with purchase card.
- Processing purchase card reconciliation and related documents.
- Researching, gathering, and organizing information and data to prepare reports, presentations, and summaries of various materials for both internal and external audiences.
- Providing general assistance to students and other stakeholders in the absence of the Director of Student Services.
- Occasionally greeting visitors, providing phone coverage (including answering and routing calls; taking messages; and responding to routine inquiries); and processing/routing postal, email, etc.
- Performing other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.

Salary Range: $18.29 - $20.70 hourly

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least two years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Broad and deep understanding of higher education student services, medical education and/or health care is desired. Proficiency in all aspects of Microsoft Office including skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook a must. Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat software and Qualtrics desired. Notary Public certification a plus.
