Position Summary

The Department of Pediatrics, University at Buffalo (UB), Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences and John R. Oishei Children’s Hospital, Division of General Pediatrics is actively recruiting for a board certified/board eligible pediatrician to serve in an urban, community-based, general pediatric ambulatory practice.

The Department is particularly interested in candidates who have strong interests in community partnerships, comprehensive primary care, and advocacy for underserved populations. The practice is a New York State certified Patient-Centered Medical Home and is a core ambulatory training site for pediatric residents and medical students. Ambulatory call duties and weekend newborn nursery coverage are shared equally with other faculty members of the division. The successful candidate will have a University appointment at the level of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor, commensurate with qualification. The position offers excellent benefits.

UBMD Pediatrics is one of 18 practice plans within UBMD Physicians’ Group, the single largest medical group in the area, and we are supported by 14 pediatric subspecialties. Our physicians also make up the academic teaching faculty within the Department of Pediatrics at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo.
