The Lundquist College of Business Mohr Career Services team serves approximately 4,500 students on the Eugene campus.

Mohr Career Services leads the Lundquist College's effort to prepare all Lundquist students for career success in an evolving world. They accomplish this by partnering with the wider Lundquist Community to help all Lundquist students craft and execute a career strategy, and by connecting them with people and opportunities to set and achieve their career goals.
Position Summary
Mohr Career Services is excited to welcome a collaborative, high-impact colleague to the role of Client Services Manager. The Mohr Career Services' Career Connections team partners with recruiters, alumni, and industry professionals who are interested in engaging with Lundquist students with the intent to share industry knowledge and/or recruit and hire. As a member of the Career Connections team, and reporting to the Executive Director, this position is accountable to operationalize efforts to increase opportunities for students to connect with industry partners both in-person and virtually. This position will manage event planning and logistics, operations, assessment, and data reporting. This person will also supervise student assistants and support the implementation of the broader goals and strategic initiatives of Mohr Career Services. As the main engagement operations lead, the team looks to this person to establish and facilitate the operational workflows and processes that drive progress on Career Connections engagement efforts. Industry partner development, satisfaction, and retention are priorities for this team, and the work of this individual has a direct impact on these priorities.

The Client Services Manager will be responsible for:
  • Oversight of recruitment activity through several technology platforms to develop an event management system to support increased employer relationship development and visibility for the purpose of connecting employers to students
  • Assisting with developing, documenting, and administering event operating procedures
  • Connecting with recruiters, alumni, and industry professionals to discuss and plan in-person and virtual event logistics
  • Providing high quality, timely, and detailed communications and support to alumni, recruiters, and hiring managers who are on campus or virtual to recruit and hire students, network with and potentially hire current students and cultivate talent, or share their expertise;
  • Ensuring event assessment and feedback are collected, reported, and analyzed; and
  • Coordinating, and serving as the main point of contact for, user-related/non-technical issues between Mohr Career Services and various technology vendors such as Handshake, VMock, PeopleGrove, Zoom, and other platforms.

    This role requires the ability to work some nontraditional work hours including evenings.
    Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and four or more years of relevant experience in a role heavily focused on one or more of the following: event planning, operations, project management, or related experience; OR
  • Eight or more years of relevant experience in a role heavily focused on one or more of the following: event planning, operations, project management, or related experience.

    Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree
  • Experience building relationships with students, recruiters, alumni, faculty, and prospects/donors.
  • Experience in higher education, career services, and/or a recruiting support role.
  • Experience with recruiting operations or student-centered event planning and execution in a higher education setting.
  • Experience with Handshake, Salesforce, Microsoft Teams, or Qualtrics.
  • Experience using data visualization software.
