About the Opportunity

Position Summary:

The Senior Director of Innovation Implementation in the office of the Senior Vice Chancellor for Educational Innovation (EI) will lead the planning, design and implementation of, EI projects and key work streams. The Senior Director will work closely with the EI Associate Vice Chancellor (AVC) of Innovation and Incubation, the Vice Chancellor (VC) of Design and Operations, EI Design & Operations leadership and key stakeholders to oversee key EI projects, workstreams and initiatives and ensure they are aligned to university goals and the Experiential and Lifelong Learning Strategic Plan. The first of these key projects is the Student Support Initiative (SSI). The Senior Director will own and drive the SSI and have responsibility for overall administration, budget development, planning, design, iteration and implementation.

Qualifications:

Master's degree required; PhD preferred | 8 or more years' experience working in an executive environment, preferably in higher education| 6 or more years of leading student success, mentoring or coaching teams | Experience planning, designing and implementing new initiatives that provide value to the learner experience and the institution| Demonstrated experience managing operations, projects and budgets| Experience leading complex projects and operations| Strong writing and presentation skills required| Ability to solve problems creatively and strategically, while using professional judgment and discretion | Demonstrated experience with event planning, in particular large-scale events | Ability to be flexible, agile, and adaptive | Strong time management and organization skills
