Successful candidates are expected to start teaching in late August 2022, for Fall semester.

Salary
Salary Range: salary will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and levels of position filled.

Hours per Week
Exempt Position: Full time, 40 hours per week, multi-year appointments

Essential Functions
Primary duties will be teaching undergraduate computer science courses, four courses/sections per semester (Fall and Spring).

Required Qualifications
Master's degree in a Computer Science field or a closely related field for Lecturer position;

PhD degree in a Computer Science field or a closely related field, or Professional Experience for Professor of Practice position.

PhD degree in a Computer Science field or a closely related field for Professor of Instruction position.
  • Two or more years of effective teaching experience at undergraduate level in Computer Science or a closely related field (including teaching assistant experience).
  • Preference for candidates with industry experiences.

Working Conditions
On Campus work modality: Primary work location will be on campus with classes taught face-to-face but may also include hybrid and/or on-line sessions. Selected applicants will be expected to relocate to the San Antonio area. Travel and parking expenses are the employee's responsibility. Applicants must be adaptable and open to working on campus and hybrid environments.
