Job Summary

The Department of Civil, Environmental and Architectural Engineering invites applications for a full-time Postdoctoral Researcher position in Professor Mija Hubler’s research group. The University of Colorado provides an outstanding, world-class research environment. A highly motivated and independent Postdoctoral Researcher is sought with training and expertise in experimental mechanics and bacterial soil cementation. The project, funded by the Wright Brothers Inst., involves engineering mechanical properties for pavement applications.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

The Postdoctoral Researcher will design, organize, and conduct standardized materials characterization experiments. When appropriate, the Postdoctoral Researcher will also design new experimental protocols related to the structure, function, and growth of the materials.

What We Can Offer

The salary associated with this position is $55,000 per year.

What We Require
  • Ph.D. in Civil Engineering or related field.
What We Would Like You To Have
  • Experience working with biomineralization or soil stabilization.
