Research Assistant II in the School of Biological Sciences (Ref.: 513750) (to commence as soon as possible for six months, with the possibility of renewal)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Neuroscience, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, or a related discipline. Preference will be given to those with research experience in primary cell culture, molecular biology and microscopy techniques. They should be organized, self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team. He/She should also have a good command of both written and spoken English. The appointee will work under the joint supervision of Dr. C.B. Chan of the School of Biological Sciences and Dr. C.W. Lee of the School of Biomedical Sciences on research projects relating to BDNF signaling in muscle physiology. Applicants who have responded to the previous advertisement (Ref.: 508865) need not re-apply.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
