The Department of Business at Flagler College is seeking a Visiting Instructor of Business to begin August 2022. The BUS Dept. is looking for a candidate who is committed to teaching and mentoring undergraduate students. The ideal candidate for this position should have experience teaching in the following areas: introduction to business, quantitative methods in business, operations management, and strategic management. The candidate should be willing to work with other faculty in determining course learning outcomes. This position is a one-year academic appointment at the Visiting Instructor level and carries a 5 / 5 teaching load. Requirements for the application process include CV, transcripts, and evidence of teaching excellence. There is no requirement of service or production of professional development / scholarly activity. Salary and benefits are competitive and commensurate with experience.

Required Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree or at least 18 graduate hours in Business Administration or a graduate degree in a closely related field. (or have a documented completion date prior to appointment)
  • Evidence of excellence in teaching undergraduate mathematical / quantitative based business courses.
  • A commitment to mentoring students.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Terminal degree in Business or a closely related field.
