Job Summary:
The ERP Analyst is provides application technical support for the development, enhancement, customization, and maintenance of administrative systems that support the daily operations of the University. This position will have a particular focus on supporting the Jenzabar One ERP solution (Jenzabar EX, JICS, J1Web, and InfoMaker). This can be a remote position.
Job Responsibilities:
-Provides assistance in coding, testing, debugging and
documenting system modifications. -Troubleshoots and provides
problem resolution for program errors.
-Troubleshoots and provides problem resolution for data
errors.
-Supports interfaces between systems and other internal/external
systems.
-Assists with documentation or reviews documentation written by
others that describes processing procedures.
-Provides technical assistance by responding to inquiries from
others regarding errors, problems, or questions about
programs.
-Monitor performance of programs after implementation.
-Documents and requests move to production of technical projects
and coordinates migration with DBA.
-Consults with end users to provide support for business
processes.
Essential Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to create technical documentation and flowcharts
preferred.
• Ability to work independently on a day-to-day basis.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to interface with the internal information technology
team, client users and external vendors.
• Work with power users of functional areas to determine ERP
application enhancement requirements.
• Excellent organization, analytical, interpersonal, written and
verbal communication skills.
• Must possess a willingness to learn and develop skills.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related technical discipline. Related
experience may substitute for degree.
• Knowledge and proficiency in SQL scripting and working experience
with relational databases. Preferred Qualifications:
• Ability to support, troubleshoot, and provide problem resolution
for complex systems.
• Experience working in higher education
• Familiarity with higher education admissions data processes and
workflows
• Experience supporting data interfaces between a variety of
platforms
• Experience supporting Jenzabar One or other enterprise-grade ERP
platforms
