Position Summary: The Assistant Director of IT will be the technical and support lead for Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Affinaquest, and the other systems being used in the Advancement Division. This position will have direct reports and assist the team when needed in the execution of daily work. The Assistant Director will help the Director of Information Systems with the assignment of requests to IT specialists and systems analysts; create specifications for data pulls, reports and dashboards, and other development projects; help in the administration of Advancement servers which include: data warehouse server, web services server, and web services SQL server; assist with the management of equipment Inventory for the division which includes computer refreshes, software licenses, and peripherals; collaborate with IT Director on setting goals for IT staff, prioritizing workloads and projects; manage security For RE, PaperSave, and Data Warehouse; help out with requests that come in as needed. Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related degree
- Three years working in an Information Technology role
- Working knowledge of MS Windows server Administration
- Knowledge of supporting hosted systems
- Advanced hardware & software troubleshooting skills
- Proven customer service, problem-solving & organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing needs & environment
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to supervise others

Preferred Qualifications:

While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:

- Experience with MS Reporting Services, Raiser's Edge, Affinaquest, and Data Warehousing principles
- Five years working in an Information Technology role
- Three years of MSSQL and MS Windows Server Administration work experience
- Working experience with Salesforce
- Previous work experience in higher education or a non-profit environment
- Previous work experience in leading an IT professional team
- Experience implementing strategies relating to diversity and inclusion
- Commitment to the University's Catholic/Marianist character, personal integrity, and a strong work ethic.

A federal court on December 7, 2021, issued a ruling that suspends the COVID-19 vaccine requirement that applies to federal contractors nationwide. With this development, the University will pause any enforcement action against employees who have not complied with the requirement to be fully vaccinated by Dec. 8, 2021 or to have requested an exemption to maintain their employment status.
