Job/Department Summary:

Working independently and under general direction of the Associate Director of Systems Technology and Compliance, the incumbent is responsible for a wide range of work related to financial aid systems, policy, regulatory, reporting, reconciliation, program compliance and audit, and quality control and procedures in support of financial aid program administration. The incumbent researches issues and problems, tests and evaluates alternative solutions, implements selected solutions, documents and communicates related information, evaluates impact of regulatory changes and communicates and implements appropriate procedures, researches and tests a variety of quality control methods, communicates with auditors, responds to audit requests, coordinates timely reconciliation and reporting of financial aid programs, and provides support for overall administration of financial aid programs.

Mandatory Vaccinations:

The CSU requires faculty, staff, and students who are accessing campus facilities to be fully immunized against COVID-19 or have received a medical or religious exemption. Selected candidates should be prepared to comply with this requirement.

Preferences:

Preference may be given to applicants with the following as they may be considered specialized skills:
  • Bilingual
  • Experience in a financial aid office or other similar highly regulated higher education office environment
  • Knowledge/experience in using PeopleSoft Financial Aid Module
  • Knowledge/experience with website development
  • Knowledge/experience using CampusLogic, FATV, AcademicWorks, HighPoint Technologies
Required Education and Experience:

The general knowledge, skills and abilities in Financial Aid & Scholarship Office with a foundational knowledge of public
administration principles, practices, and methods, and the qualifications listed above are required. This foundation would
normally be obtained through a bachelor's degree and/or equivalent training and two years of full-time administrative work
experience involving study, analysis, and/or evaluation leading to the development or improvement of administrative
policies, procedures, practices, or programs.

Time Base: Full-time- 1.0

Pay Plan: 12/12

Work Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm, Summer - Mon-Thurs 7:00am-5:30pm. Part-time telework may be considered for this position.

Salary and Benefits Information:

$3,897 - $7,051 per month / $46,764 - $84,612 annually (New employees should anticipate being hired at the beginning of the salary range)
