The University of South Carolina Lancaster, a Palmetto College
campus of the University of South Carolina located approximately
thirty-five (35) miles south of Charlotte, NC seeks candidates for
a non-tenure track 12- month appointment at the rank of Instructor
of Psychology and Counselor beginning August 16, 2022 or January 1,
Applicants who hold a Masters degree or other appropriate degree
in psychology or related field, with a minimum of 18 graduate hours
in psychology, including credentials necessary for departmental
approval to teach introductory courses in PSYC will be

State of South Carolina through the Department of Labor, Licensing
and Regulation for providing counseling services.
An Instructor/Counselor will normally teach three courses per
year or its equivalent, including evening and distributed learning
courses as needed, as well as have a commitment to
university/community service. Experience teaching at the university
level is preferred; this may have been gained during the course of
pursuing a graduate degree.
Counselor duties are supervised by the Director of Student
Success and Retention under the office of the Associate Dean.
