Job Description:
The Department of Communication at Weber State University in Ogden, Utah, invites applications for a one-year instructor position starting Fall semester 2022. This position will include teaching at least one class per semester at WSU's Davis Campus.

Job Duties:
We seek a strong teacher with the ability to teach a range of communication courses in our department as needed during the one-year duration of the contract. Ability to teach public speaking and/or interpersonal and small group communication is required. Ability to teach courses in essentials of digital media, mass media and society, and communication theory is preferred. The ability to teach in various course delivery formats such as online and hybrid is preferred.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must have a Master’s degree in Communication or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:
ABD or Ph.D. in Communication or a related field is preferred.

Visual Acuity Requirements including color, depth perception and field of vision: Required to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; using a computer terminal; extensive reading.
