Job Summary/Basic Function:
NOTE: Position will be filled as an Associate UI/UX Developer (grade E31) or a UI/UX Web Developer (grade E32) depending on candidate qualifications. Position will design, develop and maintain the weber.edu website, particularly top-level and high-traffic pages and sections, and support university communications and marketing campaigns with media-rich, interactive user experiences.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience (4 years) in related field
• 1 year of UI/UX design and development experience or education
• A basic understanding of web design, user testing, and usability
• Basic experience programming/coding HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Basic knowledge of web accessibility and coding semantics
• Some experience in Photoshop, Illustrator or equivalent graphics programs

The annual salary for grade E31 starts at $45,000 and may go up from there depending on candidate qualifications. The annual salary for grade E32 starts at $52,000 and may go up from there depending on candidate qualifications. The position comes with a generous benefits package.
