Associate Director of Sports Medicine
Department: Athletics
Position Summary:
Monmouth University is seeking applications for an Associate Director of Sports Medicine in the Athletics department.
The candidate would be expected to: assist with overall administration of the Sports Medicine Department; assist with providing athletic training services for all student-athletes; specific team assignments of Men's Basketball and Men's Tennis (subject to change based on needs of the department and position); assist with the coordination of pre-participation physicals; provide direct supervision to hourly Assistant Athletic Trainers (Interns).

Required Degree, License or Certifications:
Bachelor's degree
Required Skills or Software:
Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, Must be able to treat confidential and sensitive information appropriately, Must have an understanding of the University's concern for academics as well as athletic excellence
Required Years of Experience: 2
Other Requirements:
Two years of collegiate athletic training experience. Current New Jersey State Athletic Trainer licensure or obtain by date of employment. NATABOC certified or obtain by date of employment.
Must be able to travel, work weekends and in all types of weather. Must be able to work flexible schedule.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree. 5+ years of collegiate athletic training experience. Division I Basketball experience. Supervisory experience. Additional certifications (IASTM, CES, PES, Nutrition, etc.)
