Job Summary

The Troy University School of Social Work and Human Services invites applications for two full-time, 10-month, tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor positions, beginning August 1, 2022. Review of applications will begin immediately and will be accepted until the position is filled.

The Assistant/Associate Professor position in Social Work/Human Services will be responsible for teaching a variety of courses across the BSW, MSW, and/or Human Services curricula, with a particular emphasis on direct practice and methods courses; assisting with student advisement; possessing an interest in developing educational and professional leadership skills; and having knowledge of, and experience, with course delivery methods such as on-line and hybrid courses.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Master’s degree in Social Work or related field from a CSWE accredited program
2. D. or ABD in Social Work or related field
3. Minimum of two years of direct social work practice experience
4. University teaching experience
