The Department of Accounting and Business Law in the Quinlan School of Business at Loyola University Chicago is accepting applications for a clinical, non-tenure-track appointment in Accounting and Business Law (subject to budgetary funding and approval) with a fall 2022 start date.

Applicants must possess broad business experience and have a proven record of teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The candidate should also have extensive connections with local business practitioners that can serve not only as student mentors but also as recruiters of Loyola students. Qualifications

The Quinlan School of Business offers both undergraduate and master-level graduate degrees. It has some 2500 undergraduate and 600 graduate students, and 80+ full-time faculty including both tenure-stream and clinical faculty. The Undergraduate and MSA programs are rated among the top 30 programs in the country by US News and World Report. A BBA in Accounting and Analytics degree was started in fall 2020. The Business School is in the heart of Chicago’s Gold Coast, just west of Michigan Avenue and the Water Tower, and one mile north of the Loop. Its location provides the School with close connections with the Chicago financial and business communities. The School also operates academic and executive programs in Rome and Viet Nam, among other campuses.

Recent events of significance include:

· Introduction of the Next Generation MBA degree that focuses on data-driven decision making, leadership, communication, teamwork, and ethics.
· A $40 million gift from Michael R. Quinlan, former CEO and Chairman of McDonald’s Corporation, and former Chairman of Loyola’s Board of Trustees. In honor of his gift, his leadership and his lifetime of service and generosity, Loyola’s business school was renamed the Michael R. Quinlan School of Business.
· A $10 million gift from John and Kathy Schreiber for a new facility for the Quinlan School of Business. The structure, located on Loyola’s Water Tower Campus, is named the John and Kathy Schreiber Center.
· The founding of Arrupe College, a two-year college of Loyola University Chicago that continues the Jesuit tradition of offering a rigorous liberal arts education to a diverse population, many of whom are the first in their family to pursue higher education.
