Position Overview:
Reporting to the Chief Learning Officer, the Director of Organizational Effectiveness, will be responsible for the operational efficiency in onboarding, compliance, payroll, and training.
- This position will oversee and act as the backup for the payroll and benefits specialist
- Will be responsible for the data integrity of the HRIS system, HR policies, and job descriptions
- Acts as the point person for all HR data requested including IPEDS, NECHE, and Grants
- Collaborates with Information Technology to ensure seamless onboarding and offboarding procedures
- Works with Talent Acquisition to improve the new hire experience
- Works with SEBU and functional areas to ensure that training and development needs are met

Required:
- Bachelors degree in a related field
- A minimum of 3- 5 years of experience in a Training leadership role.
- Knowledgeable regarding adult learning theory and successful strategies.
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft applications. Paycom experience a plus.
- Demonstrated skills in successfully assessing & innovating organizational development programming, and leading change.
- Exceptional interpersonal including influencing and consultative skills. High degree of discernment and detail orientation are essential.
- Exceptional communication skills including platform, verbal and written. Skilled in delivering executive level presentations.
- Advanced leadership skills in strategic planning, and managing processes
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills to prioritize and oversee multiple competing initiatives.
Work hours are specific to the requirements of this position and can include days, evenings, and weekends. Working extended hours required as needed. Must be flexible and cooperative in fulfilling responsibilities and meeting the Colleges needs. Although Unity College employees are generally scheduled to work at their specifically assigned locations, there are times when travel is necessary and employees are required from time to time to attend events, meetings or work temporary assignment at any Unity College location.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, it is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand or walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The use of either hand for repetitive movements such as grasping, grasping and turning, and fine manipulation is required as is the ability to use the telephone for internal and external communications.
