The Office of Compliance and Diversity (OCD) is seeking a Diversity Equity Inclusion (DEI) Specialist. Reporting to the Chief Diversity Officer and Dean of Diversity (“CDO/Dean of Diversity”), the Specialist will be an integral part of OCD.  The OCD office serves a resource for all members of the campus community, ensuring campus-wide compliance with CUNY policies, laws and affirmative action and related ethics regulations, and coordinating the diversity, affirmative action, Title IX and ADA accessibility efforts on campus.  The Specialist must maintain confidentiality and present a professional, tactful, and welcoming introduction when engaging, interacting or communicating with all constituencies of the University, CUNY administrators and visitors.  In addition, the Specialist will create a welcoming, supportive safe and inclusive environment.
