Job Description:

The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner shall provide psychiatric clinical care to adults with HIV through clinic-based care with the objectives of 1) monitoring the mental health of the clients, 2) diagnosing and treating mental health issues and 3) maintaining clients in health care. This work will be within the accepted scope of practice.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience in the clinical management of HIV and mental health and/or AAHIVS certification.
• Knowledge of development across the life span.
• Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Ohio.
• Certificate of Authority and current certification in his/her area of advanced practice specialty by a National Certifying Board.
• Prescriptive authority within the State of Ohio.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with people living with HIV preferred.
• Experience working with diverse populations preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
