Position Summary

The Department of Art & Visual Culture at Spelman College invites applications for a part-time lecturer position to teach a course titled Creative Coding. The course focuses on the ways in which contemporary artists, designers, musicians and creative technologists use coding in their artistic practices. By its end, students will express themselves creatively by reading & writing code that makes images, video, sound & text interactive

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a degree in computer science or related field and experience with the Processing programming language, but anyone comfortable with programming in an object oriented language will be considered.
