Job Description

Collaborate with other healthcare providers to maximize patient care to include selecting the most effective testing procedures and strategies for effective utilization of audiological evaluation techniques and habilitation/ rehabilitation programs derived from assessment data.

Perform evaluation of the hearing of all patients and identify unusual or complex etiologies from the results of pure tone air and bone conduction audiometry and speech audiometry, and impedance testing.

Prepare comprehensive reports on diagnostic finds, and progress achieved. Maintain records documenting patient follow-up, patient care programs and data collection for clinically related services

Determine potential benefits from the use of a hearing aid and select and fit hearing aids.

Provide basic patient/family education to include explanation of test results, effects of hearing loss, and instruction in the use of hearing aids, assistive devices, and/or other prosthetic devices.

Salary

Salary Range: $27.69 - $45.16/hour

Grade: PAT-009

Part-time

The clinic operates Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Minimum Qualifications

A Master's or Doctorate degree in Audiology.
