The Department of Modern Languages and Literatures in the College of Arts and Humanities at the University of Central Florida (UCF) invites applications for two nine-month, non-tenure earning instructor or lecturer positions in Spanish. Both positions are anticipated to begin August 2022.

Duties:  The successful candidates for both positions will teach primarily lower-level language classes in Spanish. Assignments will consist of eight classes per year.

 Minimum requirements:  A master’s degree (for an instructor) or terminal degree (for a lecturer) in Spanish from an accredited institution at the time of appointment; demonstrated excellence in teaching beginner and intermediate language classes at the university or college level; native or near-native fluency in Spanish and a high level of English proficiency is required. The candidates must also have experience in teaching using a range of modalities (i.e., online, and face-to-face courses). 

Preferences:  Preference will be given to those with at least two years teaching at the college level.

Special Conditions: Applicants will be considered for position numbers 39511 and 39714.  The candidates must be authorized to work in the USA without the need for sponsorship, now or in the future.
