The University of Maryland School of Dentistry invites applications for a full-time associate/full professor faculty position as Division Chief of Dental Hygiene to lead the transformation of a unique dental hygiene educational model committed to success equity, diversity, and inclusion.
This individual should look to seize opportunities to contribute to meaningful change and have a history of collaborative and innovative scholarship with interests in challenging existing models of healthcare education, clinical care delivery, and community engaged scholarship. Expectations are to foster the strategic development of division-related scholarly initiatives, nurture advancements in educational healthcare, and guide the division’s administrative functions in collaboration with departmental activities and in alignment with institutional values.

Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited healthcare-related educational program.
- Master's degree minimum, with a doctoral degree equivalent preferred.
- An educational degree from a Dental Hygiene program preferred but not required.
- A minimum of 5 years of previous academic experience in a faculty or administrative role.
