Position Summary:
This position is responsible for all financial activity related to the functions and operations of the Parma R&E Center. Duties include budget projections, customer service and preparing and processing financial transactions. The employee processes and monitors financial documents; establishes and maintains effective filing systems for financial records; processes travel and credit card statements and other related tasks. The employee reports to the Operations Manager and works cooperatively with various departments that have faculty and staff residing at the center and serving as a resource for faculty and staff for interpretation and implementation of University, College, and Departmental finance policies, rules, and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in financial record keeping.
  • Experience researching and compiling financial information and preparing summaries and reports.
  • Experience using personal computers to enter, retrieve, and edit financial data.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Education: B.S. degree in Accounting or some college level accounting courses.
  • Experience: working in accounting in an educational setting; with Banner Finance.
  • Ability to: communicate well with a variety of individuals both verbally and in writing.
  • Proficiency with: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word.
