Purpose of Position
The Social Work Program at NKU announces the availability of a Clinical Faculty Position. This position is a full-time, non-tenure-track, renewable position. This is a 12-month position.

The position begins July 1, 2022. Primary Responsibilities
This position teaches across both BSW and MSW programs, teaching primarily Advanced Practice and/or Research courses. Classes are taught face-to-face, hybrid, and in the online learning format. This position includes teaching 4 courses during fall semester, 4 courses during spring semester, and 4 courses during summer semester. In addition to teaching, Clinical Faculty will have service responsibilities, including university and community level service responsibilities. Qualifications
Required qualifications include:
1. An earned MSW from a CSWE accredited institution with at least 3 years of social work practice experience.
2. Teaching interests in areas such as social work practice, field, research, and policy courses.
3. The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
4. Willingness to engage in collaborative relationships with community and potential community partners.
5. Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.
6. Willingness to engage in service activities that promote the well-being of the School of Social Work, the College of Health and Human Services, Northern Kentucky University, and the
community at large.
7. Demonstrated commitment to ethical and professional social work values

Preferred qualifications include:
1. Teaching experience in the areas of social work practice courses, field, policy, and research.
2. Teaching experience in both BSW and MSW curriculums.
3. Experience with teaching online and hybrid courses.
