Job Summary
This recruitment is for 4 positions, one position will be located in our Riverview location and the others will be located either in our Sandburg or Cambridge locations, final placement will be determined based on staffing needs at time of hire.

Under the general supervision of a Food Service Supervisor, the incumbent will act as lead worker for the various operations throughout the food service operations, this may include within a commercial kitchen unit within the store, or other areas as assigned. The hours will vary based on final placement but the incumbent may be responsible for opening and/or closing procedures and daily operation of the unit(s) providing fast food type products as appropriate to the unit. Other duties include training and leading student supervisors, subordinate students and Temporary Staff in food/beverage production, sanitation and customer service.

Daily responsibilities will vary but may include monitoring and maintaining inventory of products and supplies, assuring the display of products is attractive and pricing is accurate and that the unit(s) are properly staffed. Menu items prepared on site will utilize approved recipes and proper timing of production to assure that products are fresh and that waste is minimized. The incumbent will interact with customers to promote sales and is responsible for accurate cash handling and customer service.

The hourly rate will be between $15.00-20.00 per hour; Individual candidates' experience, education and qualifications will determine the appropriate starting rate at the time of hire.

Minimum Qualifications
• Experience working in a fast-paced commercial kitchen or equivalent
• Supervisory/lead worker experience in a retail environment

Preferred Qualifications
• ServSafe Food Handler or similar certification
• Experience leading and/or training staff
• Experience with food production and proper handling procedures
• Experience with electronic food ordering/inventory systems
• Cash handling experience in a customer service environment
